Update: Deputies responded to a shooting

Updated: Further investigation into the shooting that occurred Saturday, February 27, 2021, led to a suspect, Joseph Hamilton.  Hamilton was arrested by PBC Violent Crimes Division detecitves Tuesday, March 2, 2021 for First Degree Murder.  He was transported to the PBC Jail and booked. He will be attending first appearance this morning, March 3, 2021. Investigation into Death that occurred North BD I95 near Donald Ross Road

PBSO is investigating a Shooting/Death Investigation that occurred North BD I95 near Donald Ross Road. On February 19th, around 1:45pm there was an altercation between two adult male motorists that resulted in gunfire. Christopher Michael Maassen, 29 years of age, died on the scene.
