Suspect wanted for Fraudulent Use of Stolen Credit Cards.
An unknown female used the victim’s stolen credit cards at various locations in Palm Beach Gardens; Macy’s, Ulta Beauty and Office Depot. The victim suffered a loss of over $ 1300.
This incident occurred on August 8, 2018.

Single engine aircraft hard landing – Deputies and PBC FR respond

Date:           August 17, 2018
Time:           4:00 pm
Location:     16000 block of Hawker Lane, Wellington
Deputies and PB Fire Rescue personnel responded to a single engine plane that landed, hard, in the 16000 block of Hawker Lane, Wellington, Aero Club.  The occupant got out of the aircraft entered a golf cart and traveled home.  PBC Fire Rescue personnel located the adult male, at his home, and is treating him for minor injuries.  Further investigation will be conducted by NTSB.

Six inmates graduated from the West Detention Center in Belle Glade. They received their GED diplomas to help them re-enter back into society when they are released from jail. The GED Program is a second chance to get a High School Diploma. The requirements are the same, they are responsible to complete courses like Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Math. Overnight News

On 8/17/2018, at 6:15 am, deputies responded to a shooting at the 600 Block of North H Street.  Upon arrival deputies discovered that an adult male had been shot.  The suspects fled of in a vehicle.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Investigation is ongoing.
 
On 08/17/18, 1:18 am, deputies responded to a stabbing located at 1000 S. Dixie Highway. Victim was extremely intoxicated and could not provide any information.  Investigation is ongoing.
