Two unknown individuals; one male and one female, approached a residence occupied by an elderly woman/victim and advised the woman that they needed to check for a water leak. Once inside the house, the female distracted the elderly victim while the male entered the bedroom and stole the victims jewelry (valued over $ 15,000) and her checkbook.

This incident occurred on July 7, 2022 at 1:30 pm. The residence in located in unincorporated Boca Raton.
