Sheriff Ric Bradshaw Accepting Excelsior Award

PBSO Meets Highest Accreditation in Law Enforcement, for the sixth time.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has earned Excelsior status from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement. It is the highest possible achievement for a Law Enforcement/Corrections agency, meeting the highest possible standards instituted by the state. This was the first time receiving the Excelsior award after receiving the highest achievement accreditation award for 5 consecutive times. Every agency is tested every three years. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, Sheriff and top law-man for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, stated; “Thank you for making sure that Law Enforcement agencies are providing the best possible service that they can. So Thank you.” The size of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office agency requires policies and procedures  to go by to make sure they provide the best service possible.

“What this means is that, for the last 15 years, we’ve been on top of our game” – Major Robert VanReeth

It is the sixth accreditation for PBSO representing its service over the last 15 years.
