PBSO Empowering Girls in College Recruitment Tour

On January 24, 2017, our Empowering Girls Mentoring Group attended a College Recruitment Tour at the West Palm Beach Convention Center.

The girls had an opportunity to talk with representatives from Palm Beach State, Bethune-Cookman University, Florida A&M University,

Keiser University, Tuskegee University, Florida Atlantic University, Edward Waters College, Fort Valley State University and many other educational facilities.

One of our girls, Dominique Page, got accepted on the spot to Bethune-Cookman University located in Daytona Beach, Florida.

It was a wonderful experience for our young ladies.

They really appreciate the support of PBSO and PAL for providing the transportation to this wonderful educational event.
