PBSO Assists Local US Marshals with a Missing Juvenile from Syracuse, Indiana

On Friday, August 27, 2021, U.S. Marshals requested the assistance of PBSO deputies assigned to Lake Worth Beach (District 14) with locating a missing and endangered juvenile, Aaliyah Ramirez, DOB: 12/02/2006.  Aaliyah has been missing from Syracuse, Indiana, since April 2021. Through investigative means the U.S. Marshals believed that Aaliyah was somewhere in the area of Lake Worth Beach. A short time into the investigation Aaliyah was observed getting into a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and Aaliyah was recovered. Two females: Elizabeth Sands, DOB: 1/29/1974 and Allissa Sands, DOB: 10/27/1995 were arrested on a warrant for Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office for Interfering with Custody. Both females are currently awaiting extradition.
