The MAIN DETENTION CENTER is a 1526 bed facility located on Gun Club Road. Maximum, medium and minimum custody adult males are housed in this facility. Juvenile and special population male and female inmates are also assigned to the Main Detention Center.
The STOCKADE is a 17-acre compound, located adjacent to the South Florida Fairgrounds. This 967-bed facility houses medium and minimum security inmates. The Drug Farm, Life Skills, Culinary Arts, Alternative Custody, and Drug Education programs are located at the Stockade.
The WEST COUNTY DETENTION CENTER is located in Belle Glade. The 126 bed facility houses medium and minimum custody adult male and female inmates.
OPERATIONS includes units that provide services to inmates throughout their period of incarceration. Operations' units include Booking and Release, Inmate Records, Inmate Property, Inmate Court, Transportation, Classification, Property Control and the Juvenile Assessment Center.
SUPPORT is responsible for providing academic, self-help, drug education, alternative custody and other programs to inmates. This division is also responsible for operating laundry services and monitoring contractual food service and medical service provides.
