ADMINISTRATION
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH responds to employee worker's compensation related accidents, injuries and exposures to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel.
PURCHASING is responsible for the cost effective acquisition of all goods and services in support of the multiple functions of the Agency.
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE coordinates and manages all activities related to the maintenance of Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office facilities and provides internal and external postal services.
CENTRAL RECORDS acts as the repository for all records generated by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Central Records controls, maintains, and disseminates offense, accident, incident and arrest/booking reports internally and to the public.
COMMUNICATIONS provides 24 hour police radio communications service to PBSO and various other criminal justice agencies. It operates the 911 emergency phone lines, telecommunications devices for the deaf and the FCIC/NCIC computer links.
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE provides preventative maintenance and repair services for all Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office vehicles and equipment. It also maintains records and provides titles, tags, and testing for over 1,500 vehicles.
HUMAN RESOURCES provides the tools and resources necessary for processes related to hiring, benefits, compensation and employee relations.
TRAINING oversees and conducts the training for all law enforcement, corrections, and support personnel.
QUALITY AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS promotes quality in the PBSO work environment, maintains operational manuals, and ensures compliance, agency-wide, with Florida Accreditation Standards.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS provides and maintains reliable communications systems for PBSO and develops strategies for implementing ongoing technological changes.
FIELD ELECTRONICS provides radio coverage, maintenance, and ensures uninterrupted peak performance for all 38 Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office communication networks.
RADIO ELECTRONICS installs and maintains all communications and vehicular equipment for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and other public agencies.
