Chris Kneisley

Major Chris Kneisley started his career with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in 1983. He has been assigned various duties within Corrections, including Custody, Booking, and Classification. Of his 29 years with the agency, all but 3 have been in Corrections.

In August of 2004, he was promoted to Major, and is currently assigned to the Corrections Operations Bureau overseeing Standards and Staff Development, Corrections Court Security, Corrections Support Services and the Inmate Management Division.

He currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from Barry University.

Tammy Waldrop

Major Tammy Waldrop is currently the commanding officer of the Security Bureau of the Department of Corrections. The bureau consists of the Main Detention Center and West Detention Center.

Major Waldrop began her career with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in 1987. She was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 1992, rank of lieutenant in 1998, rank of captain in 2003, and most recently to her current rank of major in 2005. Major Waldrop has held many positions within her tenure at both the Main Detention Center and the Stockade.

Major Waldrop has served as a Commissioner for the Florida Corrections Accreditation Association Commission, and has been involved with the accreditation process since 1998. She is also a Certified Jail Manager awarded from the American Jail Association.

Major Waldrop's educational achievement includes an Associate of Arts Degree from Palm Beach Community College, Bachelor's Degree from Florida Atlantic University, Master's Degree from the University of Alabama.
