We Found the Person Involved in the Assault of our Deputy
We found him and he is about to be booked.
The suspect is currently being interviewed by detectives. Once done he will be transported to jail on the charges below.
** BUSTED ** For Aggravated Assault on a Deputy with a Deadly Weapon
Just after midnight on August 13, the supect flagged our deputy down claiming was in need of assistance. As our deputy exited his vehilce the suspect immediately advanced him and suddenly for unknown reasons struck him with an unknown sharp object in the right cheek then fled on foot. Investigating leads led detectives to identify Gerlo Ulysse, “G-Lo”, DOB: 6/22/90 as the suspect that ambushed our deputy.
Ulysse was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer with a Deadly Weapon. He should be attending first appearance in the morning.
