George Forman - Chief Operating Officer
A native to Palm Beach County, Chief Operating Officer George Forman has served the PBSO since 1996. Throughout his tenure COO Forman has received numerous accolades for his support of law enforcement and corrections operations, as well as achievements in finance and administration. Some notables include the development of an effective, accountable budget process, the creation of a multi-million dollar producing grant division and the continued advancement of business process improvement and modernization.
COO Forman holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Economics from Florida State University, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University and is a Certified Government Finance Officer.
COO Forman is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association, Florida Government Finance Officers Association, Police Executive Research Forum, Florida Sheriff's Association, Risk Insurance Management Society, Society for Human Resource Management, Florida State University Alumni Association, Beta Eta Alumni Chapter Inc., National Youth Sports Coaches Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Broken Star Foundation.
COO Forman is married and has four sons.
