Shortly after 3:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 4900 block of 10th Ave. N., Greenacres.  Upon arrival deputies located a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.  The victim was conscious upon being transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are en route to the scene to investigate further.

Suspect information and motive is unknown at this time.
