Crash on US 441 South & Kimberly Road, Boca Raton

Vehicle-1 travelling southbound within the outside lane of US 441 South, approaching the intersection of Kimberly Road.

Vehicle-2 was lawfully travelling westbound on Kimberly Road, attempting to traverse the intersection of US 441 South, under a green traffic signal.

As Vehicle-2 entered the intersection, Vehicle-1 ran the red traffic signal for southbound traffic and subsequently collided with Vehicle-2. During the collision, the front of Vehicle-1 violently impacted the passenger’s side of Vehicle-2.

Post impact, Vehicle-2 was redirected in a southwesterly direction while rolling over violently before coming to final rest upside down on the southwest corner of the intersection.

Post impact, Vehicle-1 was redirected in a southwesterly direction, while rotating in a clockwise manner before coming to final rest within the southbound lanes of the intersection of US 441 South and Kimberly Road.

As a result of the collision, (D-2) and (O-1) succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased on scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

As a result of the collision, (O-2) was transported to Delray Medical Center by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue with life threatening injuries.
