Rachel Hurley: Murdered 29 years ago

Sunday marks the 29th anniversary of Rachel Hurley's murder. On March 17th, 1990, Rachel Hurley, only 14 years old at the time, was brutally murdered in Jupiter Florida while with her friends at the beach. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has produced a mini-documentary on the events that took place that day. Overnight News

On 8/17/2018, at 6:15 am, deputies responded to a shooting at the 600 Block of North H Street.  Upon arrival deputies discovered that an adult male had been shot.  The suspects fled of in a vehicle.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Help Identifying Infant

We are seeking the community's assistance to identify this baby found Friday, June 1st on the ocean side of the Boynton Beach Inlet. Sadly, around 1:20pm an off duty Boynton Beach Firefighter was boating on the ocean side of the Boynton Beach Inlet when he saw what appeared to be a body floating. PBSO Investigates Unknown Male Found Deceased Along the Roadway

Deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 4300 Block of Theresa Court, unincorporated Lake Worth. Upon arrival, deputies found an unknown male deceased in or along the roadway. No suspect, motive or witnesses known at this time. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are in route to the scene to investigate further. PBSO Arrest Man for 1989 Killing

We are proud to announced that we solved a 27-year-old murder case. Cold Case detectives emphasizes, "Not Giving Up!" Today, detectives obtained an indictment charging Clarence Butler, DOB: 3/22/1955, of Pahokee, with First Degree Murder of Simmie Harris. Simmie Harris was stabbed multiple times by Butler in his apartment between July 4, 1989 and July 5, 1989. Butler was located, arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail. He will attend first appearance Friday morning.

PBSO Detectives are investigating an early morning shooting. On October 30, 2016, at 4:45 am, Deputies and PBCFR responded to the 700 block of S. Military Trail, WPB, in reference to a shooting that just occurred. Upon their arrival the adult male victim was located outside the front entrance with a gunshot wound to the torso.
