PBSO Helps Mother and Newborn

On March 1st, a mother in need and her 5-month newborn came into one of our substations requesting assistance. They had just arrived from New Jersey where they couldn’t stay due to poor weather conditions that were affecting them. With nowhere to go and no family to call, we were able to assist the family with temporary shelter and financial assistance on behalf of Adopt-A-Family. Our deputy took them to the temporary shelter and provided food, water, and other essentials.

Kids & Deputies cleanup effort

Our deputies and PAL kids took advantage of their day off from school to make a difference in the community. After cleaning up the Belle Glade Elementary, they played and ate pizza. It was amazing to see the deputies and the kids interacting.
