BUSTED after he snatched a purse from a victim and her 6 year old granddaughter.

On Sunday, March 8th, at about 5pm, the victim and her six year old Granddaughter had exited Walmart (9980 Belvedere Rd. Royal Palm Beach) and were walking to their vehicle. A green Dodge Caravan being driven by a heavy set W/M pulled up along the victim and the little girl. The driver stated ‘I’m not going to hit you but I am going to rob you of your bag.’ The suspect then attempted to pull the victims purse from her grasp causing the strap to break. The suspect grabbed a key chain with personalized items. The suspect vehicle then fled Northbound from scene. Royal Palm Road Patrol Deputies responded and within minutes located the vehicle in the Target parking lot. The suspect was positively identified by the victim. Victims property is in plain view inside vehicle. Case cleared by arrest.
